Do email or call if there is a combination of entertainment you need which
is not listed below. For example we can provide birthday firework
displays. We opened a shop in Bond Street, Leeds with an exploding sign.
The sign at your event could always read the birthday child's name instead
of "SAFEWAY".
Puppet Show
The term
"puppet" used above is your choice of any one of the following 30 minute
shows: Billy Goat Gruff, Chicken Lickin, Cinderella, Frog Prince, Hazel
Witch and Curly Locks, Hennie Penny, Humpty Dumpty, Jack and the Bean
Stalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Miss Moffit, Pirate Captain Addwell, Punch
and Judy, Three Little Pigs, Sky is Falling. The puppets are operated by
an experienced puppeteer in a decorated booth about the size of a
telephone kiosk. The puppeteer is not seen and the puppets stage is quiet
high for easy vision at the rear of a large audience. A small and
sophisticated public address system is used by the puppeteer for better
quality sound.
Marmaduke the Magic Rabbit at the Haunted Castle
This puppet pantomime lasts an hour, with magic, party games, balloon
modelling and puppets. Uncle Brian and Marmaduke the Magic Rabbit meet a
variety of puppet characters during their search for Maraduke's long lost
rabbit cousin at the Haunted Castle. The show opens with an "It's behind
you" pantomime routine as the ghost, who is a friendly looking Caspar
style, pops up and down at various windows in the castle. Two or three
boys and girls win balloon wands which they use in an attempt to be ghost
busters. This leads into the puppet show with lots of audience
participation and interaction between the children and characters of the
puppet show. Next the audience is split into two sides to cheer support
for children invited out from the audience to take part in a fun
competition involving giant block building. The final act of the pantomime
is the magic part of the show. A spell is needed to reveal the long lost
rabbit cousin. This production was introduced by Uncle Brian at Castle
Howard on May Bank Holiday 1998. Have your own stage production with a set
up of 11ft x 7ft, comprising a haunted castle and a keep from which the
puppets appear.
Captain Kidd's Pirate Ship
The 8ft x 8ft Black Pig pirate ship comes into dock (mainsail and mast
lowered for "docks" with low ceiling height) to round up some land lubbers
for Jack Sparrow in the Caribbean. Action packed party with puppets,
dressing up chest, games, magic and treasure. Popular with girls and boys
of all ages. Ask about our themed party ware.
Magic
Fast moving funny show of magical conjuring with the children's
participation. Suitable for all ages, includes balloon modelling and
animal production. There could be a slot of funky fun disco party dances
and musical games within the hour if requested. Children love to be part of
this magic show. The sweets which appear by magic can be given to the
audience during the show or handed over to be placed in every child's
Uncle Brian party bag.
Jessica Jeap
This character could be Brumm's girlfriend. Her show starts as she drives
out of the garage (4ft x 5ft approx. so please check the venue has fire
doors) which goes up in smoke. Fireman Sam is not available so one of the
children dresses up & sprays water with the fire extinguisher. The
birthday child sits behind the wheel and Jessica rides around flashing her
lights, beeping her horn and squirting water out of the bonnet and the
boot. When the wheel drops off someone has to dress up as Engie Bengie and
fix.
Funky Fun Disco
With flashing lights and groovy sounds, for the smaller ones musical
games, karaoke is available. Children's Fun Disco has a brightly dressed
DJ out on the dance with radio mic leading loads of party dances,
competitions and games then moves around the party table making every
child balloon models of animals, silly hats or swords etc during a ½ hour
tea break. Many of Uncle Brian's specialist kiddies discos have bubble blowing
machines, smoke machines, and lights. Price includes balloon model prizes
for games.
Roni the Orang-utan
Roni is the
monkey on my knee in the photo. Also available Boris the Baboon and The
Cat. All three are animated characters - like ventriloquist dummies where
you can't see the ventriloquist. Four foot tall mix & mingle monkey riding
on a three wheel bike. Plays music, rides around & talks all by remote
radio control.
Circus Workshop
Hands on participation studio and demonstration with clown where children
learn the skills of devil sticks, diablo, juggling, plate spinning, stilt
walking, hoola hoops, skipping, wheelie wheels, fun wheels, pogo sticks,
ball spinning. Jessica Jeap, the clown car available to close.
Personalised badge making, party bags, helium balloons, party tableware,
face painting, air brush temporary tattoos.
Magical Wizard Party
Hands on workshop for the essential wizardry props followed by a fast
moving funny show of magical conjuring with children's participation.
Suitable for all ages, including balloon modelling and animal production.
Knights & Maidens
Travel back to days of yore, with interactive games dress up in character
and craft your crowns and banners you can follow this with the castle
puppet show. Make your party a theme for the children to get into.
Uncle Brian's It's A Knock-out
A lively team work promoting party. Starts with badge making for your
team, to take home. Children play in their teams in fun assaults and silly
games inside or out. All the children are winners with this party ending
with balloons.
The Cat
Animated
Character - Like a ventriloquist dummy where you can't see the
ventriloquist.
Boris the Baboon
Animated
character whose antics are a cross between Jessica and Roni.
Outdoor Stage
Have the
roadshow trailer. Elevation increases viewing of who's saying what and
amplification allows them to be heard. When not in use by the event's MC
the stage is there for magic shows, puppets shows etc and the
amplification can provide background music around the venue. Roadshow
trailer comes with generator, PA system with twin stage speakers and 4
speaker horns on stands which can be spread across the field at 50yrd
intervals.
Face Painting
We can provide entertainment with or without face painters for the whole
party or for a short section of a party depending upon how much you want
to spend. Although paint on a party dress never goes down well with
parents.
Airbrush
If you are inviting more children either book further face painters, only
allow the first couple of dozen to be painted or book an airbrush artist
instead since, with a stencil taking about 20 seconds to apply, over four
hundred designs could be sprayed on to children queued in line for two and
a half hours.
The number of entertainers required could be kept as one. The airbrush
used as guests arrive with the disco providing themed background music.
Each child has one cheek painted from limited number of designs already
chosen by the host.
