Professor
Shell is an extremely well established Sheffield based Children's
Entertainer with more than 20 years experience. He is a very regular
face at Playgroups, Infant Schools, Birthday Parties, Christenings,
Weddings and Outdoor Galas in his region.
He performs a mixture of Traditional Children's Magical Effects along with
Puppet Routines. This is based on a strong foundation of situation comedy;
resulting in both the children he is entertaining, and the adults who are
not really watching, being reduced to uncontrollable fits of laughter. As
a finale, he produces Peter the live rabbit, the star of the show, who of
course the children then get to stroke at the end.
Peter, who is a multi talented rabbit, as well as being the star of the
show, is also Professor Shell's Personal Business Partner and Investment
Advisor. Consequently he also handles all incoming sales calls via a
premium rate call centre in Outer Mongolia, where he puts all potential
salespeople on hold indefinitely. In return for this, he is provided with
unlimited rabbit food, carrots and of course complementary board and
lodgings. This comes in the form of a fully maintained rabbit sized
Batchelor Pad (Hocus Pocus Heights) with en-suite facilities, personal
gymnasium, a regular supply of bottled water and spectacular views of the
South Yorkshire countryside from his penthouse window.
Professor Shell also performs Balloon Modelling exclusively and is
regularly booked by large companies, shopping precincts, hotels,
restaurants, nightclubs and wine bars. During such bookings Peter gets to
chill out at home and invite his friends round for a curry and a game of
poker.
Formerly the resident magician at Hamleys in London, Professor Shell works
and dresses in the character of an eccentric Silly Billy Magician rather
than that of a clown. His character appears as baffled at the results of
his endeavours, as the children are that are watching him.
