Professor
Parsnip is an experienced professional children's entertainer. He
has a traditional striped Punch and Judy booth with all the favourite
characters including the crocodile, Joey the clown and the policeman.
His act usually starts with magic tricks with lots of children's
participation (for they are the stars of the show) and after the Punch
and Judy show there follows more fun with a magic story and tricks and
maybe even a sing-along!
His other character if preferred is Cha Cha the Clown. This show
includes comedy and magic tricks again with full participation.
Professor Parsnip also gives talks to schools about the history of Punch
and Judy and includes a show.
He is available for children's parties, weddings, christenings,
nurseries, fetes, street parties, festivals, corporate events, and care
homes.
He performs a one-hour, two-hour, show or half/full-day shows. His wife,
Mrs Parsnip usually accompanies him and helps with the tricks.
Venues he has performed at include Knuston Hall, Castle Ashby, Woburn
Oyster Festival, and very modest dwellings. Many are repeat
performances..
